Policies

1. Special Orders: All special order sales are final, and not subject to cancellation once the order has been received by the factory (typically within 2 business days from the time you order). Special Orders are defined as items ordered by a customer that do not match the fabric, finish, function, style, material, height or any other qualitative aspects of items on our showroom floor. In-Storepecial orders require a 50% down payment with the balance, including taxes, after treatments, delivery fees, etc. paid at time of delivery or pick up.  Online orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Customer may also finance (with approved credit). Special orders are subject to manufacturer’s approval. Local customers must pay any balance owed within 15 business days of your item’s arrival. After 30 calendar days we reserve the right to resell items for the balance owed with no refund issued to the original purchaser.

2. Special Orders- Expected Wait Time: Manufacturing and transportation issues are beyond our control. Special orders are made-to-order. Please expect up to two months (40 business days*) for special orders to arrive at our store or to be delivered to your home. It is our intention to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Most special orders arrive within 4 weeks (20 business days*), however, we CAN NOT GUARANTEE ANY DELIVERY TIME FRAME. Should your wait time exceed 40 business days* from your original date of purchase, and the item(s) are not already en-route, the customer will have the option of canceling the order for a full refund of his/her original deposit. Orders placed between NOVEMBER 10 and December 30 may be subject to an additional 10 business days as many of our vendors close for an extended time during the holiday season.

* A “Business Day” is defined as any week-day Monday through Friday, exclusive of weekends and/or nationally recognized holidays including, but not limited to, New Years Day, M.L.K. Day, Good Friday, Easter, Passover, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Chanuka, and Christmas.

3. In-Stock Orders: Items which are purchased from our local inventory may be returned in LIKE NEW condition within THREE business days of original purchase. Refunds for In-Stock items will be refunded at your original purchase price plus applicable tax. Items which show ANY evidence of use, wear, mistreatment, modification or any damage whatsoever are not subject to return or refund. Customer is responsible for noting any damage to items on the store’s copy of the receipt before leaving the store. Unless noted on the sales agreement, all items sold by Chattanooga Bar Stools & More are NEW. It is agreed and understood that all furniture (unless noted) is sold in like-new condition and is free from scratches, scuffs, stains, wear, chips, missing pieces or decoration, dents, tears, seam separations, and/or food, drink, human or animal stains. After treatments, such as Guardian Fabric Protection, can not be refunded. Refunds will be made via credit back to the original credit card or by company check.

*** Our 3 day return policy is not designed to be used as a rental agreement. We will not refund items which have been used for parties, weddings, family gatherings, holidays, etc. See Above (Yes, people have done this.)

4. Fabrics: Fabrics selected for custom orders are applied by the factory and are beyond our control. There may be slight variations in pattern placement from one seat to the next. Typically there is very little variation and should not be a cause of concern. If exact pattern placement is important, many of our vendors will pattern-match for an up charge. We are not responsible for pattern matching or placement errors.
We are not responsible for variations in fabric and/or leather dye lots. We are not responsible for matching colors on orders placed on separate dates. Every effort will be made to insure that items ordered at the same time will be from the same or equivalent dye lots. Gross and obvious variations in delivered product will be considered for replacement.
Customer Supplied Fabrics: We are not responsible for the durability or applicability of customer supplied fabrics. We will only guarantee that customer supplied fabrics will be free from rips, tears, burns, stains, abrasions and seam separation AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. We are unable to warrant or guarantee customer supplied fabrics.

***Fabrics viewed online are not color corrected.  There are color variations in every monitor and we are not responsible for color variation, regardless of the extent of variation, between the fabric displayed on your monitor and the fabric you receive.


5. Finishes: Slight variations in color of metal and wood finishes from showroom samples are to be expected. Finishes are hand-applied, and as such are subject to slight texture, color and density variation and are not considered factory defects. We will insure that items ordered on the same date are within acceptable ranges of color variation. We are not responsible for exact color matching of items ordered at different times.

***Finishes viewed online are not color corrected.  There are color variations in every monitor and we are not responsible for color variation, regardless of the extent of variation, between the finish displayed on your monitor and the finish you receive.


6. Glass Table Tops: All of our table, pub, and bar glass is supplied by out of state vendors. Minor manufacturing imperfections such as minor scratches, scuffs, optical distortions, edge treatment machining marks, and slight variations in dimensions are to be expected in all man and machine made products. These imperfections (if any) are not considered factory defects in regard to product appearance or function. We are not responsible for damage to glass once delivered to our customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to protect glass surfaces from abrasions, chips, scuffs and other damage caused by typical use.

7. Wood, Veneer, Laminate and Other Tops: We are not responsible for scratches, burns, scuffs, mars, or any other cosmetic or structural damage to table tops once delivered to our customer. Very slight scratches and/or imperfections are to be expected in all man and machine made products and are not considered factory defects. We will repair or replace, at our option and expense, any table, pub, or bar surfaces which arrive damaged from the factory.

8. Customer Measurements: We are not responsible for chair or stool clearance under customer’s tables, counter tops, bars, shelves, supports, brackets or other similar structures. The customer is responsible for assuring the applicability of a particular product to their space in regard to horizontal, vertical, reclining and rotational clearance We are not responsible for arms, seats, backs or other surfaces of our products that impact the edge, underside, or other surfaces of your counter, bar, table, shelf or similar structure. If you need assistance in determining the proper height for your particular installation, we will be happy to assist.

9. Special Pricing & Price Quotes: Special pricing and/or sale pricing is valid on new orders only. Previous orders are not subject to sale prices or refunds. Customer may request a printed price quote for item(s) and we will honor the quoted price for 14 business days from the printed date on the quote. Should the price of the item be lower at any point during the 14 business day period, we will honor the lower price.

10. Closeouts, Discontinued and One-Of-A-Kind Items: Periodically manufacturers discontinue styles, fabrics, finishes and/or function of certain items. Purchases of closeouts, discontinued and one-of-a-kind items are final.

11. Loading / Unloading: Customer is responsible for the safe loading, transport and unloading of items. We assume no responsibility for property damage, injury or death resulting from improper loading, securing, tranport or unloading of items.

12. Other: We are not responsible for damage, injury to persons or property through use or misuse of our product, or fitness of our products for your particular purpose. Unless specifically stated, all products are intended for INDOOR USE ONLY. Neither Chattanooga Bar Stools & More nor the furniture manufacturer will be responsible for damage caused through improper installation, weather, acts of God, improper use, or abuse. Although most of our products utilize floor glides, we are not responsible for damage to your floor surfaces caused by the use of our products. Due to the innumerable variation in flooring surfaces, it is the customer’s responsibility to exercise due diligence and precaution in assuring floor protection.

13. General Disclaimer: All merchandise is provided by Chattanooga Bar Stools & More on an “as is” basis, with no warranties of any kind whatsoever, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, any warranties of title or accuracy or any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Chattanooga Bar Stools & More shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of or related to reliance upon this information, services or merchandise, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, whether under a contract, tort or any other theory of liability, even if Chattanooga Bar Stools & More is aware of the possibility of such damages.

Our insurance provider does NOT allow us to assist in securing items in an open vehicle.  Delivery is available.
